Meet Adam and Laura

​

Adam and Laura Rodeheaver-Van Gelder are university chaplains in Lithuania which we support as a congregation. 

​

"In sharing the role of campus chaplain, Adam’s background in campus ministry and Laura’s experience in student affairs will help us lead the university’s chapel program, mentor student leaders, and encourage the community of LCC to follow in Christ’s steps more faithfully. Although this involves several aspects, our basic desire is to journey alongside students as we support, encourage, and invite them into a deeper relationship with Jesus. Each week we’ll lead and coordinate chapel, striving to make it accessible to students who are Protestant, Catholic, Orthodox, or nonreligious. We’ll also work alongside the spiritual formation coordinator as we mentor eight student leaders and provide various discipleship opportunities on campus. LCC is a diverse place, drawing students from over 25 countries with different faith identities, yet our hope is that every student will encounter the love of Jesus and grow as whole persons through all aspects of college life."

 

Adam and Laura are employed by Christian Reformed World Missions.
